Major Players are working alongside the world's largest marine electronics and sports company who are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to make up their in-house Marketing team. This multinational innovative company is at the forefront of navigation for both recreational and commercial marine systems. The Role / Company

This company is producing products under other leading brands; with a product range from fishing to cruising to sailing to professional markets. This company has a commitment to quality products for performance, safety and enjoyment on the water. These brands are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide, with an estimate of more than 1 million boaters using their innovative technology.

This role encompasses B2B, B2C and D2C. Key goals include brand awareness, product launches, direct Ecommerce sales and App user acquisition. You will be expected to develop strategic recommendations, drive the implementation of those recommendations, and develop reporting and insights around their performance.

You will be reporting into the Head of Performance Marketing - working in a small team of four and liaising closely with key stakeholders in the global and regional marketing teams.

This is a role for someone who likes to get stuck in, with large responsibility and good opportunity to innovate and make a difference.

This role is hybrid-working with 2 days a week in the Southampton office and 4 visits a year to their Spanish Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Head of Performance Marketing to develop acquisition and digital brand strategies across the spectrum of paid digital channels (Search, Social, Display, Remarketing, etc.)
  • Development of integrated, global performance marketing strategies with oversight of execution for assigned channels/brands/regions
  • Development and ownership of Performance Marketing calendar for assigned channels/brands/regions with daily performance monitoring and optimisation to ensure that business goals are met
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. Brand, Creative, Web) to ensure performance marketing activity and implementation remains effective, providing guidance on wider digital strategy and across relevant digital touch points to ensure collective and cohesive campaign execution and optimal customer experience
  • Measure and report performance of performance marketing activities for assigned channels/brands/regions against agreed KPIs and make recommendations to stakeholders in-line with business objectives and priorities
  • Work closely with the Brand Leads to support and deliver global and regional strategies and execution plans
  • Assist with business planning and forecasting e.g. web traffic, sales performance, market trends
  • Collaborate with agencies, vendors and partners as required including planning and expenditure
  • Assist on understanding digital spend on referral programmes and all other areas of digital to see if marketing spend is effective
  • Keep on top of new strategies and emerging technologies to provide a perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Continued professional development and training with the team

Skills & Experience

  • 5-7+ years' experience in Digital marketing across
    • SEM (Google Ads & Shopping, Bing)
    • Paid Social Media (Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn)
    • Display (ideally inc. Programmatic)
    • Remarketing
    • App acquisition
    • SEO and ASO
  • Proven track-record of planning, managing and optimising complex global campaigns
  • Experience managing million+ budget to ambitious KPIs (e.g. ROAS, ROI, etc.)
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the purchase funnel (and how to take consumers from top to bottom of the funnel)
  • Experience of reporting out and presenting to the wider organisation
  • Experience collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders and driving results
  • Experience of digital marketing projects which directly drive sales (a bonus)
  • Agency experience (ideal)
  • Highly analytical with data driven approach
  • Strong communication and people skills

Salary & Perks

Location - Flexible with 2 days a week in the Southampton office

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 Depending on Experience
