Events Executive
Reports to: Senior Offline Marketing Manager
Based at: Fleet Head Office
Job Purpose Summary:
We are searching for a reliable and enthusiastic Events Executive to oversee our digital events channel (Virtual Careers Fairs) initially, with the view to managing our offline events in the UK and USA when they return later this year. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with previous events experience who is looking to get into the exciting recruitment sector.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
• Managing the development and execution of our virtual careers fair events
• Monitor the virtual event schedule and identify new opportunities to expand the channel
• Provide clients with demos, full platform training and ongoing support to deliver a successful experience
• Work with the wider marketing team to create event content and implement an advertising strategies
• Proactively handle and problem solve any challenges or issues that may arise
• Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and clients
• Deliver effective communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and up to date
Offline events (long-term)
· Organising internal (staff) and external (exhibitions & awards) events for CV-Library and Resume-Library
· Produce detailed proposals for events in line with company objectives
• Source, negotiate and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (e.g. venue, catering, transport etc)
• Work closely with the marketing and sales team to deliver all event requirements
• Maintain event budgets and report on overall event success
Personal Requirements
• Highly organised with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Confident team player who can also work on their own initiative
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills beneficial
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates good attention to detail
• Willingness to travel
• Previous experience in recruitment industry is desirable but not essential
