Job description

The Technical Support team are an integral part of the Entertainment Team, providing support to in house and external shows alike.
Video has been growing vastly within the entertainments industry, this is no different at Butlin's. We are looking for skilled people to bring this alive.

Key responsibilities:

•Set up, operation and regular maintenance of AV systems
•Liaising and working with visiting artistes and engineers
•Assist in the creation of logos and graphics and the use of visual media
•Act as security personnel to safeguard equipment and performers
•Lifting and carrying equipment and sets (including the unloading and loading of vehicles)
•To adhere to Health and Safety procedures (Stage and Backstage areas)

The ideal candidate should:

•Have a working knowledge of visual systems, Green Hippo media servers and PC and Mac
•Have experience with different genres of entertainment
•Have a working knowledge of Q-Lab (preferable) and LED screen technology
•Be able to carry out basic levels of maintenance (including soldering)
•Have knowledge of rigging and suspension, technical procedures, and systems
•Have knowledge of Midi and time coding
•Have good communication skills, be a committed team player with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
•Have a problem-solving attitude, working on own initiative as necessary
•Have a creative flair
