Are you a first-class media and public relations professional looking for your next big career move?

Here at the OPCC, we are looking for a Communications Manager who will support the Commissioner and the OPCC with effective public and media relations management through the development and implementation of a communications, consultations and engagement strategy, whilst managing a small team of passionate high-performing communicators.


Connecting with communities through local and national media channels, you will also produce public documents and coordinate communications messaging with partner organisations.


In this exciting and varied role, you will need to be an energetic self-starter, have significant experience working in a communications or marketing role, as well as a proven record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.


With a high level of drive, commitment, innovation and flair, you will be highly customer-focused with the capability to work in a fast moving, multi-task, pressurised environment.


You will be comfortable working alongside politicians and will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and further afield. It is essential that you have a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
